Summit League Tournament in Tulsa

Oakland University holds their pep rally at Marriott Southern Hills prior to the Summit League Tournament basketball games. The Oakland University women's team plays at 12 noon Saturday and the men play Sunday night. Tulsa's own Oral Roberts University will play Saturday night at 6pm.

Games are at the Union Multipurpose Activity Center (UMAC)/ John Q. Hammons Arena. Come support college athletics and see the winning team who will represent the Summit League at the NCAA playoffs.

I have been a team host for the Oakland University Men's basketball team for four years the tournament has been in Tulsa and become good friends with the coaches and staff. Come out and cheer for them Sunday night.

Crestwood Event for CASA

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) announced a special fundraising event eveyone can enjoy. Tour some of Tulsa's finest luxury homes and support CASA's mission to speak for children in the court system. CASA's are volunteers who accompany children through the court process when they are in state custody (Department of Human Services). I am on the board of CASA and, having been a Foster Parent for 15 years, have first-hand knowledge of the importance of the CASA organization.

Crestwood is located West of Sheridan on 121st Street.
There will be 4 – 5 homes available for touring on three weekends in April. There will be 2 furnished homes, 1 accessorized home, and 1 or 2 homes unfurnished or accessorized. Tickets to view the homes will be $10 each and the entire proceeds will benefit CASA! The homes will be open:
